Every year, the United States of America gathers Nov. 11 to honor those who have served in any branch of the country's armed forces. Veterans Day is a holiday celebrating all veterans who have served in the United States military. Veterans Day first came into being on November 11, 1919, when President Woodrow Wilson designated the day to honor veterans of World War I, although it was known as Armistice Day at the time. It became an official holiday in 1938.
Texans Can Academies honors all veterans. Thank you for your service.
