Our TCA Houston Southwest Academy, led by Principal Gonzalez, hosted a vibrant community event on Monday, March 25, 2024. We were thrilled to welcome numerous community partners, TCA campus leaders, students, parents, staff, conservators, and TCA Board Members. During the event, Trustee Dr. Julissa Alcantar Martinez facilitated an interactive and engaging two-way discussion, educating families about the district's vision, goals, and Lone Star Governance. Trustees La Juana Sandford and Steve Anderson actively engaged with families and students, fostering meaningful connections throughout the session. Superintendent Dr. Ponce closed the session by reminding families of the academic and social-emotional resources available to each student.
